# Trans World Bearlines (TWB)

> Trans World Bearlines is a fictional airline (code 99) that Bear runs for demos and agent testing. All flights, fares, members and bookings are mock data; no real money moves.

TWB sells through Bear. To search, book, change or cancel a TWB flight for a person, use Bear:

The TWB API below is the airline-side contract Bear calls. Do not drive the website with a browser if the API covers the task.

## Airline API

- Booking: IATA NDC 24.1 messages as JSON over REST at /api/ndc/24.1. AirShopping → OfferPrice → SeatAvailability and ServiceList → OrderCreate → OrderRetrieve, OrderReshop, OrderCancel. OfferPrice is required before OrderCreate.
- Holds: OrderCreate without PaymentFunctions creates an unpaid order on hold (StatusCode HELD) that keeps the seats and price until its PaymentTimeLimitDateTime. OrderChange with PaymentFunctions pays and tickets it; an unpaid hold expires.
- Idempotency: send an Idempotency-Key header on OrderCreate and OrderChange. A resend with the same key returns the order the first request made instead of creating or charging a second one, so a timed-out request is safe to send again.
- Loyalty: Bearline Miles sign-in, profile, balance, trips and saved cards at /api/loyalty/v1. This part is not NDC.
